Birkenhead House is situated in Hermanus, South Africa, and is approximately 120km (75 miles) from Cape Town. The different road options guests have to travel to Birkenhead House are as follows:
Take the N2 turn off (left) towards Somerset West, keep on the N2 (approximately 100km) until you see a small town, Botrivier, on your left. The road will split. Take a left onto the R43. Hermanus is 38km.
Drive straight into Hermanus Main Road and drive straight through the city centre until you reach a circle (approximately 6km). Take the second turn off, out of the circle, and continue (still on the Main Road) until the first road on your right (approximately 1km).
This will be 7th Avenue. Continue (approximately 200 metres) towards Voëlklip Beach. Birkenhead House is situated on the corner of 7th Avenue and 11th Street.
Arrivals and Departures from Cape Town International Airport. Helipads exist at the Marine Hotel and Provincial Hospital for helicopter and chartered flights.
