What to do at Harbour Square Hotel
Popular Hermanus activities include outdoor sports, scenic walks and water based adventures like Shark cage diving, relaxing on the beaches, horse riding, shopping, wining and dining. Festivals and regular markets add to the town’s appeal as a holiday or conference destination.
The Hemel and Aarde Valley is a proud wine growing region and one of the area’s top attractions. For a bit of history, guests can explore the Old Harbour, founded in 1904, which is on the doorstep of this Western Cape hotel in Hermanus.
Fernkloof Nature Reserve is found above the town on the Kleinrivier Mountains. The reserve protects Fynbos and forest and has a 60km (37 mile) network of trails for visitors to explore.
There is a range of beaches in Hermanus, some are actually coves whilst Grotto Beach stretches over a long expanse to a lagoon and has good facilities including a restaurant, change rooms and barbeque facilities.
Quarters Hermanus has 1 conference venue, catering for up to 40 delegates, and is one of the few hotels in town to offer modern facilities for conferencing and banqueting. Clients can choose a Half Day or Full Day Package or go for the 24 hour accommodation Package, which has a Team Building option (kayaking, food and wine experience).
